How does it feel to be a Jeopardy! champion?
Hey, being a Jeopardy! champion is a, kind of like a--fulfilling a big dream for me. I've watched Jeopardy! ever since I was a little kid, and actually tried out once in the '90s and didn't make it, and now I've got the chance, and I'm glad I was able to, uh, take advantage of it.
Did you guess during Final Jeopardy!?
Uh, Final Jeopardy! came up, and the answer was "tartan", and I actually have some Scottish blood, and I do have a tartan, uh, scarf could be from the--the clan that I came from, so...
Any messages to the folks back home?
I'd like to thank my mom. She used to watch Jeopardy! with--you know, when it had Art Fleming as the host, and I remember her sitting there ironing in the--in the family room while Jeopardy! was on, and... So, I'd like to thank her. |
