How did you react when you found out you'd be on Jeopardy!?
Um, I started pretty much freaking out. Uh, I never expected it, really--y'know, I went to the audition, there were all these really, really smart people who did really well, and so, y'know, I never thought that I would be in the fifteen. So, basically, I started calling everybody I knew, and my family and my friends, and I was just really excited.
Do you have a dream Jeopardy! category?
Probably SHAKESPEAREAN LITERATURE or RECENT MOVIES, uh, because I saw a lot of movies recently and because I've read a lot of Shakespeare.
How will you celebrate if you win the tournament?
Um, well, I'm actually planning on taking my whole junior class on, like, a huge field trip. Uh, we're probably gonna go to, like, this local museum and, um, eat pizza, and it's going to be a lot of fun.
What's the best part of being a teen?
Um, the best part about being a teenager is being able to experience all these wonderful opportunities. Um, being able to go everywhere and see everything and still have a ton of fun. |
