A junior from Lexington, Kentucky...

Jay Schrader

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years, um, I would really like to be a film critic and, uh, write about movies, because I really like to watch movies--uh, all types, classic films, whatever--but if that doesn't work out, I'll probably get a business degree and try to start my own business, or something like that.

What is your all-time favorite movie?
My all-time favorite movie is Pulp Fiction. I think the writing is really good, and the action, and the, um, the way way they tell the story is really unique and interesting.

What do you do for fun?
Um, I'm a big, uh, UK sports fan--University of Kentucky--uh, basketball and football games. Uh, I like horseracing, at, uh, Keeneland, really pretty track in Lexington. Um, I like to watch movies and spend time with my friends.

What is the best part about having your license?
I guess the, uh, independence. Um, at first it's a lot of fun to drive by yourself, but that kinda wears off, and once that's over, you can just drive wherever you want, and you feel free, and independent.
