A senior at the University of Texas at Austin from Austin, Texas...

Chacko George

Date of First Appearance:
October 1986 [J! Archive note: we're not sure what this means, since Chacko was 3 years old in 1986.]

Total Winnings:
2000 Teen Tournament: $25,000 [J! Archive note: Chacko's Teen Tournament actually aired in November 1999. Since it was the second Teen Tournament aired that year, it is referred to on the J! Archive as the 1999-B Teen Tournament.]
2000 Tournament of Champions: $5,000
Total: $30,000

Favorite anecdote:
After my appearance, a man called my father asking how he could help his son win in the same way I did. My father didn't really coach me at all before the Tournament, however, and all the advice I gave was to watch a lot of TV.

Effect of Jeopardy! on my life:
I am currently using the Jeopardy! winnings to go to the University of Texas at Austin. Had I not won, I doubt I would have gone to UT. I love the University, and I have Jeopardy! in part to thank.
