A junior from Northwestern University...

Dean Malec

What makes you a strong Jeopardy! contestant?
Well, I've been watching Jeopardy! ever since I was a little kid, and, um, I love reading about all things trivial, and, um, I've got pretty good, uh, thumb reflexes, so hopefully those will all, uh, help me out in the game.

Who is going to win the College Championship?
I am!

Can you show us your school's song or cheer?
Uh, we usually say, "Go U Northwestern", or we also have, uh, a Wildcat growl: [makes claws with right hand] Rawrrr! [Laughs]

What will you do with your winnings?
Um, it sounds kinda boring, but I'll probably put 'em in the bank. To--to save up.

How did you prepare for the show?
My friend actually sent me a link to a website that has archived, um, a lot of the past episodes of Jeopardy!, so I've been looking at that, and, um, just kinda reading things here and there.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself as a clinical psychologist. In--in ten years.
