Jane Kaczmarek

Star of the new ABC comedy Help Me Help You, Jane Kaczmarek is already an audience favorite for her work in Malcolm in the Middle. That series earned her seven consecutive Emmy nominations, and back-to-back Television Critics' Awards.

Ms. Kaczmarek is no stranger to the New York stage. She appeared on Broadway in Lost in Yonkers and in plays at the Manhattan Theatre Club, The Public, Second Stage, and Long Wharf. In Los Angeles she appeared in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Dinner with Friends at South Coast Repertory, and won the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award for her performance in Raised in Captivity. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Yale School of Drama, she is playing on behalf of the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation, a charity she founded with husband actor Bradley Whitford, which auctions celebrity award show finery to benefit children's charities.

Because I'm Polish, and I think it's universally known, the amazing intellect of Polish people. And actors! Everyone knows how brilliant actors are. So the fact that I'm a Polish actor, I think, uh, I'm winnin' hands-down.
