A meteorologist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin...

Michael Falk

What was your favorite aspect of playing Jeopardy!?
Just playing the game itself--is, it's a lot of fun! I mean, I love playing trivia games, uh, I just--I always play along at home--I think everbody plays along at home! I love the pace of it, I love going fast, and I just love seeing what I know and maybe learning something in the process.

Did you prepare differently for this Tournament versus for other Jeopardy! games?
I prepared the same way for this time as I did last time for the most part. Um, I read a lot: I always read the paper, read any books that look interesting. Sometimes when I see something interesting I'll just jot it down on an index card or in my notebook or whatever, and then I go over that at some point. So I treated the Tournament of Champions pretty much the same way I treated my first games.

How has your life changed since your appearance on Jeopardy!?
Uh, it's going to be really hard to tell if my life has changed, because my episodes just aired Tuesday through Friday, and then the next day I flew to California for the Tournament of Champions. So, I was dealing with a lot of phone calls, and hooking up with a lot of family and friends I hadn't seen in a while, and all of a sudden I came here to play some more Jeopardy!

2014 Battle of the Decades invitee: $5,000.
2006 Tournament of Champions winner (semifinalist by wildcard): $250,000.
