How did you prepare to be on Jeopardy!?
Uh, well, I prepared by watching the show a little bit more than I usually do, and, um, going on the--on the Internet, I found a web site that has all the shows archived from 1984, uh, and that was a lot of fun to go through the old questions, and things like--things of that nature.

Was there a teacher that greatly inspired you?
My mom was a teacher for 28 years. She taught elementary school in Norfolk, Virginia. Uh, she, y'know, taught me--uh, she took the first few years of my life off from working and she had me prepared for school by the time I got to school. She--she was my inspiration.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge on the show?
My biggest challenge? Uh, well, I, y'know, I realize, uh, that it's not what you know, it's what--what the categories are, and what you're asked, so, y'know, just looking for a little luck.
