What do you like about Jeopardy!?
What I like about Jeopardy! is all of the fun trivia that you can learn when you watch the show.
Who is your role model?
Um, prob--one of my role models is probably Alex Trebek.
What do you plan to say to Alex Trebek?
"Hi, I'm your biggest fan"... probably.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a chemist, because I've always been interested in chemistry, so...
...
How does it feel to be a Jeopardy! champion?
It feels really good. I've wat--I've been--I've been watching the show for a long time, and I've always, y'know, ans--y'know, gone along with the questions, and this past year with, um, Kids Week, I was doing really well on 'em, and so my mom goes, "Hey, why don't you register"--and--"next year?" And so I went, "Okay," and, here I am.
What are you going to do with your winnings?
Um, I'm going to buy a lot of DS games that I really want. Um, I don't know, I might maybe take a vacation or something, if I, y'know, pay for vacation. And, um, hopefully buy maybe a Wii or a new Xbox or something with it.
What did you enjoy most about your experience on Jeopardy!?
Meeting Alex Trebek was definitely the--the highlight of the trip, be--because, uh, he's been one of my role models for a long time. So... so it was--it was really just a pleasure to finally meet him.
Is there anyone you would like to thank for helping you become a Jeopardy! champion?
I really want to give a shout-out to my, uh, my language arts teacher, Mrs. O'Malley, and to, um, my dad, who really helped, um, look for, um, different questions and things that I could, y'know, study material. Um, I also thank my math teacher, Mrs. O'Keefe, who, um, on the outside is a strict person, but on the inside is really nice and, um, and caring. |
