A sophomore from Fremont, California...

Krishna Bharathala

What inspired you to want to compete in the Teen Tournament?
Well, I've been watching Jeopardy! since I was a little kid, and, um, I decided that, 'ey, I might as well go give it a try and see how well I do, and now I'm here.

As a teen, what's your favorite thing about Jeopardy!?
I really like some of the categories that they give, um, particularly math and science, but some of the wordplay categories that have come are really, really interesting. It's just a really fun show to watch.

If Alex Trebek were a teacher at your school, what subject would he teach?
He'd probably teach, uh, world history, I-I-I think. Uh, geography--seems some--like something he would teach.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years, I want to be pursuing some kind of career in, uh, medical sciences, um, but I guess being a host on Jeopardy! might not be too bad, either!

Tune in to see who makes the grade and who gets schooled!
