What's your favorite subject in school?
Uh, my favorite school subject has got to be history, or a combination of, like, history and humanities.
If Alex Trebek were a teacher at your school, what subject would he teach?
I don't know what subject Alex Trebek would teach, if he would teach at my school. I would hope he would teach the subject that I like the best, like history. He kind of reminds me of my history teacher, my humanities teachers.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Where do I see myself in ten years? Um, either, uh, coll--working on my doctorate, uh, in college, or doing some mission--some kind of mission work.

How does it feel to be a semifinalist in the Jeopardy! Teen Tournament!?
Oh, I can't believe that I'm a semifinalist. I mean, it just feels great. I've--I just had no idea when I tried out that I would make it this far, absolutely no idea, and it just feels wonderful. Best day of my life.
What do you think of the contestants you faced?
Oh, they were really good. In fact, I had--I was really worried, because there was a girl who was coming up close to me, and so I had--I--they--they were wonderful.
Do you have any shout-outs to friends and family back home?
Uh, yeah, sure. Because I couldn't write it on my board, I'd like to thank Miss America for driving me to--back to my house so I could catch a plane to the Jeopardy! audition, and I'd also give out a--a shout-out to my AmStud class. Best class ever.
Tell us about your strategy today.
Honest to God, I don't really have a set strategy, I just watched a lot Jeopardy!, online and on the TV, because it's on twice where I am. And so I just watched a lot of the episodes. |
