How does it feel to be a semifinalist?
My heart's still beating, but it feels really good. Um, it's been a lifelong dream to be on the show, and... couldn't have a better first game.

How did you prepare for the College Championship?
I spent a lot of time online looking at Wikipedia and Sporcle. I bought an intro opera book. Haven't used it yet, but we'll see.

Any shout outs to your friends and family back home?
Say hey to all my friends in Durham at Duke, and everyone back from Webb. Hope you all are having a great start to the semester.

Anyone you'd like to thank?
Definitely my parents. Um, they flew out here with me, and they've been with me every step of the way.

Tell us about your strategy.
