How does it feel to be the new Jeopardy! champion?
Woo! [Edit] Oh, it's terrific. It's, um... just how I thought it would be: a little scary, a little exciting, and a whole lot great, so I'm very happy. [Edit] Whoo! I'm'na have to change my business cards now, put that on there, it'll be great. [Laughs]
Any secrets to your success?
Well, I didn't want to have to worry about figuring out my wager at the end, so my goal was to have so much that I was twice as far ahead as the next guy, so I could--so I could just relax and know the answer or not know the answer at the end, and--and go for it. So... it worked! Woo-hoo!
Any messages to the folks back home?
Oh, just everybody at home. My family. Everybody at work. The girls in Shipping! Um, they are just--everybody was so supportive and so excited for me, that I really appreciate it. And my whole town, I'm sure, um, everybody'll know by now that I'm gonna be on the show, so I'm just--just thrilled. |
