A sophomore from San Diego, California...

Raphie Cantor

What was your reaction when you found out you made it on Jeopardy!?
So when I found out I was going to be on Jeopardy!, uh, my mom called me and she said, "Raphie, you're going to be on Jeopardy!" I'm like, "Uh-h, you're kidding, right?" And she was like, "No, you're really going to be on Jeopardy! Maggie just called me." I was like, "Wow, this is, like, it's actually going to happen." And so, uh, I-I just kinda sat on my couch, and, uh, I, like, just took it all in for a little bit, and my fafmily was right there. I told them, they couldn't believe it either. And, uh, it was honestly one of the greatest days of my life so far.

What's your favorite thing about Jeopardy!?
The excitement. And, y'know, I'm here at the Teen Tournament, and no matter what happens, we're all, like, winners. I mean, we're fifteen out of thousands of kids. Um, so, I mean, I'm proud of myself no matter what happens, but, obviously, I want to be the champion.
