How does it feel to be the new Jeopardy! champion?
Feels awesome--almost as good as when the Yankees win the pennant!
Does your job give you an advantage when playing Jeopardy!?
When that category came up for me as a Judaic studies teacher trainer, I said, "Thank you, God, and thank you Mom!" [Laughs]
How did you prepare for your appearance on Jeopardy!?
Preparing to come out here involved a lot of studying--um, watching Jeopardy! a lot, which meant I didn't do dishes because I was watching Jeopardy! [Laughs] And, uh, just reading the paper all the time.
Any messages to the folks back home?
I want to say thank you to my husband for not telling me that I was crazy, and to my kids for not telling anybody that I was going to be on the show 'til I embarrass myself. |
