How does it feel to be the new Jeopardy! champion?
It feels unbelievable to be a Jeopardy! champion! It's a dream come. Watched the show my entire life, so, I'm--I'm speechless right now.

How did you prepare for your appearance on Jeopardy!?
Oh, my lovely girlfriend Felicia, uh, tested me over and over and over again, um, and made incredible study aids for me, so, couldn't have done it without her.

Any messages to the folks back home?
I want to say thanks to my parents and, uh, to Rosemary and Craig, and, uh, Sue and McKenzie who are here today, and, uh, thanks to Paulie, our quizmaster back in Portland.
