How does it feel to be the new Jeopardy! champion?
This is unbelievable! This is, uh, a dream come true! I've been wantin' this for many, many years, so it--it's a lovely day to be a Jeopardy! champion!
How did you prepare for your appearance on Jeopardy!?
I read the Dupée book, uh, and tried to zero in on the questions, and, uh, just general, uh, crossword puzzles. When I do crossword puzzles, I was trying to look for things like foreign capitals or whatever that would jog my ideas of something to go and look at, so that worked out pretty well.
Any messages to the folks back home?
I'd like to thank my husband, who is the world's best booster! He's just wonderful in supporting me in every way. And my great family. And also my boss, for lettin' me be here at a [laughs] difficult time back there. |
