Has anyone asked for your autograph or recognized you from your Jeopardy! appearance? Actually, yes. It's usually at work. Um, I've had, uh, several people come up, and I've had calls at home that my agent/wife, uh, picks up, and, um, yeah, it's just pretty crazy. I've signed about three. Are you more or less nervous to play this time? Um, less nervous. It's, um, it's humbling and satisfying at the same time. What was your reaction when you were invited to the Tournament of Champions? Well, I was... I was just really proud. I was at work when I got the call, and, um, all of my, uh, workmates, they stopped what they were doing as they listened to me and gave me a round of applause, but, um, I've been watching Jeopardy! since I was a kid, and I was just so happy to do it, and my grandma to still be here to see me do it, so... How did you celebrate your original run on the show? Um, uh... actually, went out and bought a house. And, um, we had a New Year's party in that house the week after we moved in. And all my friends, family were there. It was--it was really great.
2010 Tournament of Champions semifinalist: $10,000. Season 26 5-time champion: $122,705 + $1,000. Terry appeared as a challenger on two episodes of ABC's 500 Questions on 2016-05-26 and 2016-05-27. He was unable to eliminate fellow 2010 ToC'er Ryan Chaffee.
