How did winning on Jeopardy! change your life?
Um, well, when I came back for the Tournament of Champions--uh, does that--this is actually a story about that--like, uh, we got a free day, so we rented a car and we drove around L.A., and I--and I told my wife, y'know, "I want you to know," y'know, "this is--like, coming on Jeopardy!, like, did you ever think we'd be taking car and just going around L.A. and just, uh, go to all the sights and places?" And just the ability to do things like that, just to go and do things like that, has been tremendous.

How did you celebrate your original run on the show?
Um, we basically had parties every night. Um, I teach at a school, so we went to, like, different teachers' houses every--you know, we would just have a--every time the show came on we would have a, uh, party at someone else's house and watch the show and have a good old--a good old time.

What do you think of your competition?
Um, they're tough, you know? Some of these, uh, folks, uh--y'know, myself, I looked at the--the top fifteen people and I'm somewhere near the bottom of the list, so, y'know, I'm like, y'know, "Can I take these folks?" But, uh, y'know, I'm just lookin' at it like, "I'm gonna play the game as best I can and see where it lays."
