Where do you see yourself in ten years?
All right, well, in ten years, I would hopefully have been published with, um, some of the works I've been writing on, and since I want to go into journalism, I'll be able to do some further writing, whether online or in broadcast, or whatever field journalism ends up going. I know it's a complicated issue right now, but I'd love to be writing in ten years, and sort of honing my craft a little bit and gaining experience to ultimately parlay into politics a little further down the line.
Do you think your major will give you an advantage in the College Championship?
Uh, I would hope so. With communications comes a lot of writing, and a lot of sort of learning about, um, English and the way that you can talk to different people, and I would hope that somewhere in this comes things of--that I might have come across with the literature and the writing.
How did you react when you were selected to be on the Jeopardy! College Championship?
Uh, when I found out I was going to be on the College Championship, I was just giddy, is probably the best word. I was down in this small room because I had to leave from the lous--uh, loud, uh, cafeteria, and I was jumping around. I finished the call with Maggie and I let out a loud s--whoop/scream. People outside gave me a bit of a weird look, but I was just really happy, I just ran back up and told some friends and celebrated the good news.
What would be your dream category?
I think my dream category would be either something in sports trivia, because I'm a huge sports fan, or possible also James Bond, because I've seen all the movies multiple times and I love the series.
