What happened when you found out you were going to be a contestant?
Well, I was at my house, and my mom had invited a few friends over, and no one knew, and then my dad kept on, whenever the doorbell rang, my dad kept on having me answer the door, which I considered a little odd. And then I opened the door and there were the Jeopardy! people, or the people from the news station that plays Jeopardy!

How did you prepare for today?
I read the 2004--the almanacs TIME for Kids provides--both 2004 and 2005, I read world record books, atlases, various things.

Do you have a favorite subject in school?
History.
