Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years, I see myself maybe as a theater critic or a librarian. All I know is that someday I want to publish a novel. Or two. Or three.

What is your favorite book of all time?
Favorite book of all time? That's a really hard question. Um, I'd say probably Dreamland by Kevin Baker. It's a great book.

Do you have a favorite band?
The Decemberists blend a whole variety of musical styles with terrific lyrics.

If you had to blow all your winnings in one shopping spree, what would you buy?
Um, well, the good answer would be to give it all to charity, but I would love to go to Barnes & Noble and buy a whole bag of books.
