Are you more or less nervous about this round?
I think I'm a little more nervous for this round, just because so many of these people--I was on early in the season, and some of these people I'm seeing today I've seen them play. And I know that they're all really good.

Are there any fun facts you'd like to share about yourself?
I'm the worst at thinking up fun facts. [Laughs] It took me two hours to come up with five things to say to Alex, so I guess I don't really have any fun facts. Except that I--maybe I'm boring.

How did you react when you found out you would be in the tournament?
When I found out I was gonna be on the tournament, I was at work, and I was actually just coming back from my lunch break, and somebody came downstairs and was running--"Somebody's on the phone from Jeopardy! You've gotta come take the phone call!" And, then, um, then--they were the first people to find out, and we sort of all danced around the building.

How has becoming a Jeopardy! champion changed your life?
Uh, my life has changed a lot, because I was able to buy a house with the money that I won, and previously I had been living in an apartment for years, and it's nice to have that independence and have my own property.
