How have you spent your winnings?
Well, uh, my--my winnings have been set aside. Uh, my son's researching a car right now, but we haven't really decided, uh, on what. He's almost sixteen, and so he thinks that a car should be in his future, but I think it should be in mine. So we're still working on the car right now.

Have you perfected your buzzer technique?
Uh, in terms of buzzer technique, I can't say that I've worked out any--anything. I think It's like a, uh, Jedi lightsaber. You kind of just have to feel the flow and, uh, go with that energy, and not try to think about it.

How did your students react to your Jeopardy! win?
Uh, I think the students had a little--little bit more respect for me, seeing that I knew, y'know, people who had names that sounded like Muppets--I think that--that carried me through a few classes.

Did you do anything different to prepare for this competition?
Um... uh... uh... I'm not sure I prepared differently. I think I knew the competition would be quite intense, and so, um, I did try to look at categories that are frequently asked here, but, uh, be-because they ask about everything in the universe, it's very difficult to prepare. You can't prepare for Jeopardy!, you can't not prepare for Jeopardy!, and so I think we all find our way to make ourselves comfortable.

What is the best thing about being a Jeopardy! champion?
Well, the greatest thing about competing has been, uh, catching up with the friends and neighbors and former students from all over the country who saw me on TV and got in touch with me, some of whom congratulated me, some of whom said they could've done better than me, so it's been, uh, really, really exciting.
