What do you like most about Jeopardy!?
Well, uh, I've always enjoyed it when the questions come your way, and nobody else has any clue, and you're there just straining at the buzzer waiting for a shot to get an answer. With me, that doesn't happen too often, so when it does, I'm very proud.
Can you show us your school's song or cheer?
Oh, uh, we do, we've got many cheers. But the one common thing is that all our cheers end with [shakes fist in the air] "Go to hell, Duke!"
Who is going to win the College Championship?
I'm not a gambling man; I'd like to think of myself as having a shot.
What categories are you hoping to see?
Well, anything about the Academy Awards would be a very pleasant surprise; COLLEGE BASKETBALL wouldn't be too bad, either.
How did you prepare for the show?
I made a whole bunch of flashcards: uh, all the world capitals, the zodiac (if that should somehow come up), and even birthstones. So, uh, there's that, and there's the Archive Jeopardy! web site, which I've taken a look at.
What will you do with your winnings?
Well, I think I'm going to set aside a junk fund for computer games and Hot Pockets and things of that nature. But the rest, probably put aside for grad school.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself either being a history professor, or playing quarterback for the New York Giants. But I think the professor is the more likely outcome. |
