A senior from Chula Vista, California...

Dan Royles

Hi, my name's Dan, and you're watching me on jeopardy.com.

How long have you been watching Jeopardy!?
Uh, I've been watching Jeopardy! since I was really little. My dad, uh, is a big fan of the show. And so I'd watch a lot with him, and we'd, like, compete to see who could get more answers right... and he was pretty tough competition.

What are your hobbies?
I'm really into music. I play clarinet. I'm in band. Um... Otherwise, I really like film and movies, and so I go to movies a lot. Um, see a lot of independent films. Um... every once in a while, try and make a really short, cheesy one.

Do you have career plans?
I really want to be an architect. Um... I've wanted to be an architect for a really long time. Uh, I took some classes in architecture--they really, um, solidified my interest in that. Um, reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Um, Frank Lloyd Wright--big inspiration. I really want to be an architect.
