An actor from CSI: NY...

Hill Harper

Hill Harper portrays Chief Examiner Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on the CBS hit drama CSI: NY. He has also received critical acclaim for his work on the series City of Angels and The Handler, as well as the HBO film Lackawanna Blues. Mr. Harper is as accomplished off screen as he is on it. He is a magna cum laude graduate and valedictorian from Brown University.

He has received graduate degrees in both law and public administration from Harvard. But don't think of him as just another brilliant mind. In 2004 he was selected as one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive." Mr. Harper recently wrote a motivational book, Letters to a Young Brother, in which he provides inspirational lessons and guidance for today's youth. Mr. Harper is playing for MANifest Your Destiny Foundation, an organization he established to help pair successful, positive role models with underserved youth, and to provide scholarship, grant, and internship opportunities.
