What was unique about your competition?
Uh, yeah, I did actually Darrell Hammond's impersonation of Sean Connery on the skit--the Jeopardy! skit on Saturday Night Live. But, I can give it a try, y'know. [Impression] "The day is mine!" But I'm a little under the weather today, so... But he seemed to enjoy it, he seemed to get a kick out of it.

How did you prepare for the show?
Uh, I had my friends, uh, quiz me. And every time I got a question wrong they made me drink. That was basically it, so...

Your first appearance on Jeopardy!
Uh, most of the people I went to school with thought I'd end up being a game show host, instead of a game show winner, so, uh, I have, uh, since then auditioned to be a game show host, but I guess I didn't do a very good job, because, here I am.

What would you like to say to the audience?
Yeah, anybody that, uh, that ever sat on their couch and said, uh, "I'd kick butt on that game" should get up and try out for the show and do it, because that's what I said for years and years and then finally I said, "You know what? I'm'n'a go down there, see how I do."
