A closed captioner from Honolulu, Hawaii...
Your first appearance on Jeopardy!
Um, my shows aired during the first week of December 2001, and I totaled $59,000.
What do you expect from today's show?
Yeah, I'm teaching at community college, now, and I'm hoping that this appearance will get some of my students a little bit more interested in learning.
Do you have a Jeopardy! nickname?
Well, one of my e-mail addresses uses the word "fastfingers," and after my last Jeopardy! appearance when I lost game 5, my friends wanted to change it to "notquitefastenoughfingers."
Is there anything that you would like to clear up?
Um, I do know that a kilo is 103. [Laughs] But I can't think in terms of numbers when I'm under stress.
What was your previous experience on Jeopardy!?
Oh, I forgot almost everything I knew when I was on the show before. [Laughs]
Are you nervous about the game?
Um, on one hand, I think I'm more relaxed because I got here on a wildcard, and I've only known for two weeks that I would be here, so I haven't had time to get nervous.
