What happened when you found out you were going to be a contestant?
Well, I won a contest at my local station, so I got to bypass the 10-question test. So I took the 50-question test. They said, "You're in the database, we'll send you something if you get in." And I guess a couple of weeks ago, I was at school, I called my dad about something else, and he said "Chloé, you got a package in the mail from Jeopardy! today!" And I was like, [whimpering] "Oh!" So I went back home during one of my free periods, and I was just stunned. I was a little crazy.
What are you most excited about today?
Well, I really enjoyed meeting all the people, and they're from all around the country, and everyone's so different, and it's really great interacting with everyone. But, you know, hopefully, I can just get up there and have fun, and not make a complete fool of myself.
If you had a "dream Jeopardy! category," what would it be?
My dream category would be something, you know, U.S. GOVERNMENT, POLITICS, something like that.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully I'll be working on Capitol Hill, or in some form of government. Maybe in the Senate as an aid or something along those lines.
What will you do with the money you win?
10% goes to charity, and the rest goes in a savings account for when I decide to spend money.
Do you have a particular role model?
My entire family has been incredibly supportive, and Jon Stewart, for being informative, and making me laugh every night. |
