A sophomore at Florida State from Jacksonville, Florida...

Brad Selvig

How did you prepare for today?
The preparation for today was, was very interesting. I--I--A lot of people asked me if I studied for Jeopardy!. For the past two weeks, they said, "So, you're going to be on College Jeopardy!--are you studying really hard?" And I thought, "How do you study for that?" It's--it's not someth--They don't have the all-purpose guide to Jeopardy! answers that you can purchase and flip through on the days leading up to it. I really have just been taking time to relax, and focus, and free myself of tension so that I can do the best job that I can and not... pass out, or... say something really ridiculous on television.

If you could create your own Jeopardy! category, what would it be?
PAUL SIMON ALBUMS, or something like that. Just... or, or OLDIES MUSIC. I do really well at that. I--I'm a big fan of old music and everything, and I own all the Beatles albums, and Simon & Garfunkel albums, and things like that, and I really think that I could take the other contestants to school in something like that!

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
By that time I will have graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts, uh, in acting from Florida State. And hopefully I'll be performing somewhere. Uh... In ten years I would really like to be performing on stage, or in film, or on television, or something like that.
