What happened when you found out you were going to be a contestant?
When I found out about the show, I was, um, all alone in my apartment in Austin. Um... I had been in Houston for the weekend, um, for my grandmother's birthday. And on Friday, um, it was getting kind of close to the end of September, and so they had said we would hear about the show by the end of September, so I was getting a little antsy, and, um... I was shopping with my mom, and she said, "You know, right now the FedEx man is at your apartment, delivering," you know, "delivering your package," and I said, you know, I said, "No, it's not quite to the end of September yet," and I got back on Saturday, and I had a hanger on my door from the FedEx man that he'd been there, and so I tracked the package online, and it was coming from L.A., and I wasn't expecting anything else, but I was still really nervous to wait and find out, and I found out on Monday, um, afternoon, it came, and I opened it and I was really excited.
How did you prepare for today?
I prepared for today mostly by watching pretty much every episode of Jeopardy! I could find, um, on Game Show Network and regular broadcasts. by and I studied international capitals, and, um, a little bit of that kind of stuff, but I've had a lot of homework, so I haven't done as much time to devote to that as I would have liked.
If you could create your own Jeopardy! category, what would it be?
I would probably go with a fashion category, because I would be alone, I think.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Um, in ten years, I would like to be a very successful lawyer, possibly. I am interested in doing entertainment law, so, as an ath--a sports agent kinda lawyer, so that would be... my goal, I guess! |
