Do you have a nickname associated with your performance?
I've been referring to it as either my lucky streak or my fifteen minutes, depending on whether I'm related to whom I am speaking.
Records held/Stats:
First person to win more than five consecutive games, quarterfinalist in 2004 Tournament of Champions.
Favorite anecdote associated with being on the show:
I have one that stands out as my favorite. My grandfather is a lifelong Red Sox fan and he attributes their winning the World Series to my appearing on Jeopardy! approximately a year before they won it all. He called me the night they won the Series to announce "Oh crap, now I have to die."
Did being on Jeopardy! have any affect your life?
I used the money that I won to work only part time and go back to Penn State to finish my degree. I'm also using the money to pay for part of my MBA program.
Have you done anything crazy with your winnings?
Does taking my wife and parents to hear the New York Philharmonic count as crazy? Other than that, I've expanded my jazz CD collection, but that's about it.
Is there anything else I'd like the viewers to know about me?
Yeah, I'd like you all to know that I'm still job hunting, so if you want to hire me, I'm sure the fine folks here at Jeopardy! will put you in touch with me (hopefully). |
