The official Jeopardy! web site lists Jim's residence as Churchville, New York, but he was introduced on the show as being from Chili, which Johnny Gilbert pronounced as having both syllables rhyming with the word "eye." Jim explains that Chili doesn't have a post office, so the mailing addresses there list Churchville.
